Each delicate & lightly brushed disc is carefully cut, melted and hammered by hand in this 16" 18k yellow gold necklace. Sia Taylor handcrafts all her pieces inspired by organic irregularities found in the natural world and with understated beauty in mind. Each dot starts out as a piece of wire. She then heats it until a tiny gold ball forms. A disc is then hammered & carefully polished and finished. This meticulous work takes hours and makes all her pieces incredibly special.
